Broadcast Sciences provides ongoing engineering services for stations throughout the mid-Atlantic region, both commercial and non-commercial. Our clients span a wide range in terms of size and complexity, from independently-owned small-market stations to major-market group-owned clusters, to syndicated satellite programming providers, to regional non-commercial radio networks. Our engineers likewise come from a diverse background, having worked on, or for, stations in small, medium, and large markets.

Audio and video, medium-wave to microwave, telecom and datacom, we’ve got it all covered. We have extensive experience with the latest advancements in broadcast including a wide range of automation systems, HD RadioTM, satellite earth stations and digital satellite receivers, and much, much more. While the latest technolgies require up-to-date skills, we haven’t lost sight of the fact that even the newest innovations are built on the fundamentals that our experienced engineers have mastered.

All stations, regardless of size or complexity, require routine maintenance and regular on-site visits. As such, our contract engineering agreements include a minimum number of studio and transmitter site visits per month, and entitle our clients to 24-hour on-call emergency service. While the majority of the clients to whom we provide ongoing engineering services have been with us for many years, we are always willing to assist a new customer in the event of an engineering emergency.
